Bocote is native to Central America and has an orange tint to its grain, while also having a pattern similar to that of Zebrawood or Tigerwood. This piece has a river design where the river has been colored with a pearlescent white color. It has rounded corners, chamfered edges, and a handhold cut out on one side for easy holding. This piece will serve as an excellent conversation starter, charcuterie board, or display piece for any kitchen.
Due to the specific type of epoxy used, it is completely safe for food contact - however no epoxy is safe for cutting on, and all will show knife marks easily. We recommend our cutting boards and butcher blocks for all use cases that involve using a knife.
