This snack tray is named after Missouri Mountain, and is designed for dry foods such as nuts, grapes, or seeds, but can also work great with sauces given appropriate prep. Missouri Mountain stands 14,074' high, and is located in central Colorado in a region known as the collegiate peaks. Missouri Mountain can be located just to the west of Buena Vista and is nearby Mt. Yale, Harvard, and Oxford, among others.

Make a statement at your next gathering with our Missouri Mountain Snack Tray! Not only does it comfortably hold nuts, grapes, and dipping sauces, it doubles as the perfect partner to our serving trays and charcuterie boards. Make a lasting impression and impress your guests with this stunning serving accessory!

All Missouri Mountain Snack Trays are cut from a single solid piece of either Hard Maple or American Walnut and then finished with our mineral oil. We highly recommend using our wood butter to coat the interior to prevent wood intrusion if you plan to use this tray with a dipping sauce.

All variations of the Missouri Mountain Snack Tray are sold with 4" x 3.75" x 1.5" dimensions. As a series serving tray, your dish will look similar to the photos provided here but will have grain pattern and color variations. It has a single chamber that is one inch deep.

Like all of our Mountain Series products, the Missouri Mountain Snack Tray is not just made in Colorado, but it is made using machinery that itself was built from the ground up in America, and through the use of domestically sourced lumber. All of our products are made locally in Colorado.

Specifications:

  • Made in Colorado by Kineo Mountain Woodsmithing
  • Made from solid American-sourced hard maple, or American black walnut
  • Grain Raised Finishing Process i This is where our sanding process involves raising the grain before final sanding. Normally, when wood comes into contact with water, it will absorb the water, raising the grain and causing the surface to become rough after that point. Raising the grain before hand, helps ensure that when wood comes into contact with water, it will remain smooth instead of becoming rough.
  • Finished with a penetrating, food-grade mineral oil followed by a coating of our wood butter
  • No Paints or Stains used (0-VOC)
  • 4" x 3.75" x 1.5" dimensions
  • Tray chambers are 1" deep
